The Americans are rolling at the Vancouver Olympics, and they don't seem likely to slow down soon. Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn competes Saturday, along with speedskaters Apolo Anton Ohno and Shani Davis. NBC plans to televise their events in prime time.

LUCKY 7?: Ohno was fortunate to win a silver medal in his 1,500-meter short track event when skaters in front of him crashed. In the 1,000, he'll try to win his seventh career medal, which would be a U.S. record for a Winter Olympian.•

SHANI'S SEQUEL?: After winning gold in the 1,000 on the long track, Davis will try for another in the 1,500. American Chad Hedrick is also a contender.•

NEXT VONN TAP: Vonn will ski in her third event at these games, the super-G. She won the downhill but faltered in the super-combined.•

FLYING HIGH: Switzerland's Simon Ammann will try for his second individual ski jumping gold medal of the Vancouver Games.
