• The River North Chicago Dance Company, celebrating its 20th anniversary season, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Miller Auditorium as part of the university's Performing Arts Series.

SRU students will be featured.

• Timothy Culver, a tenor and staple in the Great Lakes music scene, will present a free recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Swope Music Hall.

His performance at SRU will offer works by Vivaldi, Ludwig van Beethoven, Reynal do Hahn, Francesco Tosti, Ernesto de Curtis, Eduardo di Capua, Samuel Barber, Lori Laitman and Lee Hoiby.

Pitt's Repertory Theatre's production of Moliere's comedy "Scapin" continues through Feb. 14 at the Studio Theatre in the basement of the Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave. Tickets can be reserved by calling 412-624-7529.

• Hundreds of performers from CMU's School of Music will present its second annual Collage Concert, a dramatic event combining theatrical lighting, music and performance spanning six genres, at 8 p.m. Feb. 12 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.
