Butler Library, 218 N. McKean St., will hold a book discussion program at 6 p.m. Feb. 18, March 3, April 1 and May 6.
The program, "Facts in Fiction: The Civil War Era," will be led by Michael Dittman, a scholar in English from Butler County Community College and a local author.

WINFIELD TWP — Concordia Haven Apartments will host a free monthly diabetes class beginning at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Haven I activity room. This session is on the diabetes disease process and types of diabetes and will be led by certified diabetes educator Terry Garcia.Classes will be held the second Thursday of each month until June 10.
