ANDY O'KEEFE (Grove City College), a senior on the Wolverines men's basketball team, was named Division III South Player of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference. He averaged 27 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two victories last week.•
AMY ACHESINSKI (Butler), a member of the Mercyhurst College women's basketball team, recorded game highs with 26 points and nine rebounds in a 61-58 victory over Clarion University Wednesday.•
BETHANY KOCH (Union) had a team-high 19 points and had six rebounds and three steals, but the Clarion University women's basketball team dropped a 61-58 decision to Mercyhurst Wednesday.•
LIZZ KING (Knoch) had a team-high 13 points, including three 3-pointers, but the Chatham University women's basketball team fell to Thomas More College 74-61 Wednesday.•
ROB BRIGGS (Knoch) came off the bench to record 11 points, five rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes as the Westminster men's basketball team defeated St. Vincent College 69-44 on Wednesday.•
MOLLY EVANS (Butler), a junior swimmer at Carnegie Mellon University, was named University Athletic Association Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week. She recorded three wins, including a national qualifying time in the 500-yard freestyle against Westminster.•
CHRISTINE SLATER (Grove City College) became the 10th women's basketball player in school history to reach 1,000 points when she scored 24 in a 61-58 loss to Washington & Jefferson Wednesday.
