I just finished combing through the County Commissioner's 2010 budget, and I'm a bit confused.

According to the document, available at the link below, our commissioners are proposing a nearly $30,000 dollar raise for themselves. That's almost $10,000 a piece - or 13%.

However, over the last several months we've witnessed our commissioners hassle Sunnyview employees over much lower wage increases - with some going so far as to call these nurses and caregivers "greedy".

If that's the case, what does that make our commissioners. Bear in mind most of these men have already made their fortunes, and they're compensated quite well for governing a small county whose seat of government isn't faring well financially.
