Pitt's Baldwin not guilty of charges
PITTSBURGH — Pitt receiver Jonathan Baldwin was cleared of all charges related to the alleged groping of a female student.
An Allegheny County judge found Baldwin, 20, not guilty of indecent assault, harassment and other charges Monday.
During Baldwin's non-jury trial, a campus police officer testified that Baldwin admitted that he smacked the nursing student's buttocks on a campus shuttle bus.
Judge Kevin Sasinoski said there was no evidence of indecent assault.
Campus police say the woman complained of the alleged assault April 18 and charges were filed the next day.
A Pitt spokesman says Baldwin was disciplined internally following the allegation.
