Section of I-80 eastbound closed until Sunday night for repairs
The eastbound land of Interstate 80 is closed today through Sunday night.
Because of rough road conditions on I-80 eastbound between exit 42 at Route 38 and exit 45 at Route 478 in both Butler and Clarion counties, the eastbound lanes will be closed from 10 a.m. today until Sunday evening.
The state Department of Transportation and Swank Construction will mill the road and shoulders to provide a level driving surface.
During that time, motorists on I-80 eastbound will use this detour: Exit 42 on Route 38 to Route 322 to exit 53 at Route 338 back to I-80.
