Did anybody read the article yesterday about the prices now campared to the prices from 2000? Wasn't it strange that almost all the comparisons showed only slight increases (gas of course fluctuates constantly), except that of cable? Armstrong basic cable almost doubled in that 10 year time! Now John McCain (whose biggest contributor is Comcast) is trying to regulate internet and cable sites to completely eliminate the free access we have now. I think people better start researching this and making their opinion known by writing to Specter and Casey before it's too late...and don't be fooled by McCain's sneaky title - Internet Freedom Act - it is exactly the opposite. (I guess he took a naming lesson from Bush's Healthy Forest Initiative which gave Georgia Pacific free reign - but that's another post)
