Children's theater brings act to SV
JACKSON TWP — Pittsburgh International Children's Theater will bring its second of three shows in its Family Series to Seneca Valley Intermediate School on Jan. 31.
The Pittsburgh International Children's Theater added the location new this year to coincide with its 40th season of programming to bring theater to families with children age 3 and older.
"Pigeon Party!" starring the pigeon of Mo Willems' books fame will be staged by the United Kingdom's Big Wooden Horse Theatre Company at 2 p.m. Jan. 31.
Performances are also scheduled at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 and at 10:15 a.m. Jan. 25, both at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh; at 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at Gateway High School in Monroeville; at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28 at Pine-Richland High School in Gibsonia; at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at Moon High School in Moon Township; and at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Keystone Oaks High School in Mount Lebanon.The final show in the Pittsburgh International Children's Theater season will be Theaterworks USA's "Henry and Mudge" planned for March 14 at Seneca Valley Intermediate.
