MEADVILLE — Traffic is being detoured now along Interstate 79 in northwestern Pennsylvania because of a crash involving two tractor-trailers.

State police say the crash happened near Meadville shortly after 10 a.m. today, requiring the southbound lanes to be closed to the Geneva exit. Traffic is being detoured onto Route 19.

Police say there are injuries, but they appear to be minor.

It's not clear when the road will reopen.

Meadville received about 8 inches of snow overnight and some tractor-trailers have apparently gotten stuck trying to exit.
