Mark, I didn't mean that teachers and police officers are the same I simply meant that they are both public servants. I agree that they are no where near the same as far as responsibility and what they do day to day. That is night and day. Only similar that they are "both" public servants because they are paid by taxpayer dollars. Do I agree they are underpaid, Yes. I feel police officers are far more underpaid than teachers. Again, pay does not reflect what the profession does. That was simply my point.
