I wish that you were here;
To help us celebrate, this special time of year.
I miss the times we spent together, as selfish as that may be;
But still I wish that you were here, to celebrate with me.
Though I know this cannot happen, deep in my heart I know;
That you are always here with me, guiding me as I grow.
