I want to let everyone know what a excellent, caring, loving and dedicated organization the PSPCA is. They have given these abused (that is putting it nicely) cats a second chance for a good life. I went to the shelter, where the Tiger Ranch cats are being sheltered. It is an awesome shelter. They have roomy, cozy places for these cats. They have beds and toys for all of them. They feed them all Science Diet food. The cats have all had supreme medical care and are now healthy and ready for a "Forever Home". Do you have room in your heart and in your home for one of these wonderful adult cats? The shelter has to close at the end of this year and once again, these cats will have to be moved to other non-kill shelters. They have been through so much already.....please help them. Give them a "Forever Home" and love they so deserve.

In October of 2006 I got evicted from my home, because I had to many cats and my landlord found out. I thought I was taking my beloved pets somewhere good. I checked out the place first, of course and all seemed fine and good. When I heard of the raid, in March 2007, I was on the verge on a breakdown. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, taking my beloved pets to a shelter in the first place and then to hear of the raid and the condition of these cats. I cried constantly and my heart was heavy with quilt. I prayed for all the cats, not just mine. I heard these cats were now adoptable. I called them and got the website with the rescued cats pictures. I found only one of my cats on the webiste, but she is now back in her, once again, "Forever Home" with me. I have been blessed. My Beauty (her name) had to have many of her teeth pulled, due to a mouth disease she got from that "Shelter of Horror", known as Tiger Ranch. She was thin, dehydrated, discharge of the eyes and nose. Her intestines were thickeded and gassy and there is more. She was medically a mess, as they all were. The PSPCA could have humanely euthanized these sick cats, but they didn't. They have cats at the shelter now, that will always have long term medical health problems that will be very costly to care for. [p;Do you know who will be taking these cats? I will tell you. The staff of the PSPCA. How wonderful, caring and loving is that? They have spent well over $240,000 in medical care for these cats, from Tiger Ranch alone. I know this is Christmas time, a time of giving. If you can, please donate to this worthy cause. If everyone who reads this letter donates just $1.00, it will help. I did, and I will continue to. They are responsible for bringing my beloved "Beauty" back to me.

They have rules, as it should be, when adopting. These cats have been through so much and they do not want them to ever be mistreated again. They must be indoor at all times, as it should always be. Indoor cats can live to be 18 years or older, outdoor cats life span is 3 to 5 years. If, for any reason, you find yourself in a situation you can no longer care for the cat you adopted, that cat must be returned back to the PSPCA. There is a phone number, they give you to call, to have the cat returned to them. It is a good thing. They never want these cats to go through any form of abuse, or neglect ever again.

I urge you to go to their website. Adopt or donate to these animal victims of abuse. They have 190 some adult cats for adoption. So far, only 40 some have been adopted. There has been few donations and I find that very sad.
