Dear Santa,

Hello. My name is Daniel Robert and this will be my first Christmas in this world.

This is the first I've heard about this since I was born on the 13th of July. I think I've been a good little baby boy. How bad can a kid my age be?

I know I've been a good baby because my "maa" and the funny old man with the hat tell me this all the time. My dad, he kind of acts like what you sound to be about. Mom and Dad love me lots, as I do to them. I love my brothers and sister, too.

Since I can't write yet, my daddy's doing the writing for me. Here goes my list and my wishes.

First, I would like all those things, everything I've seen on that "talking picture box." I think my family calls it a TV.

And I've heard all we need more peace on earth. Please, bring all of that you have.
