An acting seminar will be conducted by soap opera, television and movie actor J. Eddie Peck.

He performed in "The Young and the Restless," "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives" on daytime television. He also appeared in "Kyle XY," "Dallas," "Dynasty," "Cheers" and "Murder, She Wrote." His films include "To Grandmother's House We Go" with the Olsen twins and "Lambada." Additionally, he hosted the 1998 Miss USA Pageant and the 1997 Miss Teen USA Pageant.

The seminar will include an opportunity to perform scenes and receive character/script analysis and coaching. There also will be a question-and-answer segment.

The seminar will take place Dec. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. for those age 12 and younger and from 6 to 9 p.m. for those age 13 and older.
