Trinity Jazz Orchestra, billed as Pennsylvania's only nonprofit, professional repertory jazz orchestra, will present a Christmas concert at 7 p.m.

at First English Lutheran Church, Main and Brady streets. Admission is free. The group is made up of music educators and other professional musicians.

Opus I Music Society meeting will feature sacred Christmas music at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mars Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, Mars. Meetings are free to the public. Ellwood City Area Civic Chorale will have its holiday concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony. The evening of holiday music is free and open to the public. Call 724-452-8886.

The 30th Boar's Head Festival at Christ Presbyterian Church, 325 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, will feature five performances of the one-hour show of music and pageantry celebrating the birth of Christ. Members of the cast, chorus and orchestra are from all over the region, including Butler County. The performances will begin at 5 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are free but required. A holiday harp concert performed by members of the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Harp Society will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at PPG Wintergarden, Fourth Avenue and Stanwix Street, downtown. The hour-long concert will feature 25 area harpists performing traditional Christmas carols; Irish, English and Scottish carols; Chanukah selections, as well as Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride."
