BRIDGEVILLE — A puppy's owner has been charged with animal cruelty along with her boyfriend who told police he kicked the animal to death because it was misbehaving before the start of Sunday's broadcast of the Steelers game.

Police say 21-year-old Christine Gielarowski of Bridgeville, is charged because she failed to stop her live-in boyfriend from killing the dog.

William Woodson, 22, of Bridgeville, is charged with animal cruelty in the 13-week-old pit bull's death. A witness told Bridgeville police Woodson kicked the dog down the street. Police say Woodson was supposed to be walking the dog and was angry that Gielarowski bought it.
