I agree that a 40 year old building may not be a desirable place to open a new store. But we can't keep just building new buildings and abandoning the old ones. The Shop and Save down at that Kmart Plaza is a fairly new store and has been vacant for years. Tax incentives or other help to tear down the old buildings IF new ones are necessary would help. I just hate to see what remaining trees we have around here cut down to build a new store, while others get boarded up collecting nothing but rats and creating blight. The bigger picture is unfortunately no more wildlife.
