GABRIELLE MALISHCHAK (Slippery Rock University), a freshman midfielder on the SRU women's field hockey team, was named to the womensfieldhockey.com Division II All-Rookie team. She led The Rock in scoring with four goals, two assists and 10 points.•

JEREMY DEIGHTON (Slippery Rock University), a senior forward on The Rock's men's soccer team, was named third-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America. He scored 21 goals and 49 points this season and has a grade-point average of 3.6.
