I would buy American and I do when its available,2 problems 1st problem American made products are hard to find because we import way way too much.Problem #2 American products suck. We want to sit on our duffs and have people tell us how great we are.Well, the world has passed us by. Americans have become lazy, money hungry and dependant on other nations goods. We have become a nation of welfare bums and drug addicts.Not everyone but by and large this is a huge problem. Case and point. McKeesport Pa. 1 example. 23000 residents.Direct Tv had 1000 jobs to fill. They are pulling out. Why? Not enough applicants could pass the freaking drug test!!.The few who could didn't think 10 bucs an hour + benefits was enough to start.They made more on welfare so they didn't want to risk losing their "benefits" courtesy of Uncle Sam by taking a job paying only 10 bucs an hour. Pretty disgusting stuff.I would rather be working and trying to better myself than just sit on my butt and collect a welfare check if that was my situation. What about you? I think all the benefits of those folks within a 20 mile area should be cut off because they are either too lazy or too doped up to work. Meanwhile those of us that do work have to bear the burden of the lazy jerks who don't.I think this attitude is partly responsible for why American products by and large are inferior to goods from other nations. And it is the number one reason why they don't sell. Number two would be of course the higher price.Who in their right mind is going to pay more for something that is not as good as the competition? We need to wake up, make better stuff and stop importing until our economy improves.We keep helping the wrong folks. Joe
