The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., is exhibiting The Art of Horror IV through Nov. 13 in the Underground Gallery. Celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Associated Artists of Butler County concludes "Art Through the Ages: A Retrospective" on Friday. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host a "Shichi-Go-San" or "7-5-3" program from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 14. The program marks a Japanese children's festival that celebrates girls who are age 3, boys who are age 5, and girls and boys who are age 7. Dixie Lipnichan will lead children in a story, learning Japanese words, making a craft and playing games. Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to participate in this free program. <B>Frick Art and Historical Center</B>, 7227 Reynolds St. in Point Breeze, is presenting "Icons of American Photography: A Century of Photographs from the Cleveland Museum of Art." Admission is free, however there are charges for docent-led tours of Clayton, the former home of Henry Clay Frick, and some educational programs. <B>Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts</B>, 124 E. Leasure Ave., New Castle, is hosting "The Shape of Life with Eva Zeisel," a spirited Hungarian woman who brought an original brand of modernism to the ceramic industry, through Dec. 31. The exhibit contains more than 100 examples of pottery, glass and furniture design collected by the Erie Art Museum to represent the 70-year career of the artist, who at 103, is still active. Also featured through Dec. 31 in the Blair Sculpture Walkway is the Hoyt Artists Association's annual holiday show and sale. Admission is free.
