CLARION — A football player for Clarion University suffered two stab wounds during a dining hall scuffle.

Police said the argument began Wednesday evening when 19-year-old running back LeVaughn Robinson shoved another student to the floor.

Police said that student, Daney Wyant III, 19, then drew a knife and stabbed Robinson twice in the leg.

University spokesman Tom Schott said the men had an ongoing personal argument.

Robinson, a freshman from Pittsburgh, was treated at a hospital and released. Both he and Wyant, a freshman from Erie, face assault charges.
