Local youths continue to participate in Pittsburgh Musical Theater productions, and the upcoming student edition of the classic "Les Miserables" is no exception.

Nicole Uram will be playing the role Eponine, Lyric Ackelson will portray a Lovely Lady, and Andre Parker and Hannah Lamberto will be in the ensemble.

High school performers fill both the stage and the orchestra.

The show will open tonight and run through Sunday. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Byham Theater, 101 Sixth St.
