My beloved son,

One year and so much pain without you.

You thought of everyone else instead of yourself and suffered in silence because you didn't want anyone worrying about you, that's how unselfish you were.

You were so patient and brave.

If anyone asked you how you are doing, you'd always smile and say "Good".

No one I'll ever know or meet could go through what you did and not complain and keep on smiling.

You're one of a kind and I'm so thankful you were my son.

There will never be another Lane so thoughtful, lovable and kindhearted.

I miss you so much, your smile, hugs, kisses, blue eyes, phone calls, and going out to eat.

I'm a broken hearted mother who will never be the same.

Life without you on holidays, birthdays, or family get togethers are not the same.

You're on my mind every day and in my heart forever.
