Butler woman dies in crash on Route 356
SUMMIT TWP — A Butler woman died Sunday morning when her SUV hit two trees off Route 356 and rolled over.
Darlene Sequete, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7 a.m. accident by a Butler County coroner.
State police report Sequete's Jeep Grand Cherokee veered off the right side of the highway and hit a garbage container at the end of the driveway at 343 Freeport Road.
The vehicle then swerved before hitting an embankment and two trees. After rolling, the SUV stopped upright along the northbound lane of the highway.
The cause of the accident was unavailable. The cause of death was not reported.
Sequete was wearing a seat belt.
