Pennsylvania's Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will begin accepting applications for cash grants Nov. 2. Crisis grants will be available Jan. 4.LIHEAP helps low-income people pay their heating bills through grants. Cash grants are based on income, family size, heating fuel and region. Crisis grants are provided in the event of emergency.Applications will be available at the Butler County Assitance Office, 108 Woody Drive, local utility companies and community service agencies.
