Have you folks seen the article about Rep. Metcalfe and the anti-domestic violence proclamation? It doesn't matter what your opinions are on homosexuality, no one deserves to be assaulted or raped in a domestic situation (or any other situation). I can't believe he took issue with this just because the statement alludes to someone other than a woman in a straight relationship being battered. This is the man who represents southern Butler County in the state House? Ridiculous! When is there ever going to be a viable candidate to run against him? Nearly anyone would be better than this!
