Penn's Colony continues

Jamie Cooper, owner of J.A. Cooper Gallery in Ligonier, works on the landscape for her French and Indian War era painting at Penn's Colony on Sunday in Saxonburg. The annual festival, which continues this Saturday and Sunday on the festival grounds on Saxonburg Boulevard, features artists and musical entertainment reminiscent of the historic time period of the French and Indian War. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6.50 for those age 16 to 59, $5.50 for those age 60 and older, $4.50 for age 8 to 15, and free for children younger than 8. On-site parking is free.
