JEFFERSON TWP. — Concordia Visiting Nurses will host a flu vaccine clinic from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Haven I first floor lounge, 112 Marwood Road.Those with Medicare B, Security Blue or Freedom Blue should take their insurance cards and CVN will bill their insurance carrier directly. Individuals also may pay privately. Receipts will be available if their insurance covers the shot.CVN nurses will be there to provide education on the H1N1 swine flu virus, but that vaccine will not be available. A basket and bag bingo event will be held Oct. 11 in the cafeteria of Butler High School, 120 Campus Lane.
