SRU TENNIS

Slippery Rock University freshman Melissa McCutcheon won all four of her tennis matches in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Sunday.

The matches were the first of McCutcheon's collegiate career. She won both her singles matches and teamed with CMU's Michelle Guarino to win two doubles matches in a round-robin format.

Rock seniors Lauren Handy (3-0) and Casey Runyan (2-0) also were unbeaten in singles competition.

The SRU women's tennis team opens its fall dual match schedule Wednesday at West Liberty (W.Va.).
