Freshman Benjamin Lloyd's first career goal in the 78th minute was the only one the Slippery Rock University men's soccer team needed in a 1-0 upset of No. 16 California (Pa.) University Saturday.

Goalie Greg Blum recorded his third shutout of the season for The Rock. He made two saves, including a game-saver with four minutes remaining in the match.

The Rock improved to 3-1 and 1-0 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West.
