The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team tallied four second-half goals to pull away in a 5-1 victory over Lock Haven Wednesday.

Lynsey McKey tied the game at 1-all in the 33rd minute for The Rock, the top-ranked team in the Atlantic Region.

Ashley Paganie scored two unassisted goals in the second half and assisted on an Alyssa Barrett goal. Shelby Layman also scored for SRU (2-0, 1-0).

Goalie Sarah Lacy made five saves to earn the win.

Jeremy Leighton scored the game's lone goal as SRU blanked Lock Haven 1-0 in the team's PSAC West opener.Thomas Pool and Shaun Reid assisted on the goal, and Greg Blum made five saves for The Rock (2-1, 1-0).
