You're right about the Chappaquiddick incident, it was a disgrace. But you apparently didn't even research your rant, most Republicans just regurgitate what FOX says, so I'm not surprised. Here are a few of Kennedy's accomplishments, since you were too lazy to look them up yourself.

He was instrumental in lowering the voting age from 21 to 18.

He essentially created OSHA. Before that workers were basically on their own when it came to dangers in the workplace.

He was one of the key players in the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Stopped Republican efforts to allow corporation to steal from their pension funds in the Pension Protection Act.

Helped pass the Miner Act that increased safety technology in mines.

Raised the minimum wage.

Created COBRA.

He was the guy who crossed the aisle, and even John McCain said he is irreplacable.
