Butler Brothers
All original songs grace the 14-track CD recently released by the Butler band named About a Mile.
The Christian band with a rock sound features the brothers Klutinoty: Adam, 18, the group's lead singer and guitarist; Levi, 20, who plays the drums, and Luke, 17, who plays bass. All three create the music, and Adam writes the lyrics.
This full-length album called "Find Yourself" includes a title track that encourages listeners to make their way through struggles and find themselves.
About A Mile's 2006 demo release was called "Send Me an Angel."
The name About A Mile comes from a study that Jesus carried the cross "about a mile."
The group will be in Nashville this weekend performing for Christian record companies that will be scouting for bands.
The trio has a free concert scheduled in Butler on Sept. 11 at Net Outreach, 100 Center Ave. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show will start at 7 p.m. Concertgoers can anticipate the group playing its song "Not Ashamed" from the new album.
