Bravo and congrats to all players! I didn't see such a stink last year when PS handed ES a but whoopin (48-0). Oh yeah, up until Saturday I've heard about last years game, my oldest boy tells me that kids would be in the hall and say to him "all I'm gonna say is 48-0" then the PS kids would walk away with the Mustang boys feeling terrible about their season. Yes I have two children that have gone through the Mustangs. We have been there for 7 years! What everyone else is missing is that our kids show great sportsmanship! What about 5 yrs ago when a team mom stole their fundraiser money! What about the fact that they have had to deal with getting a new head coach every year or every other year! So kudos to Andy Fair and the rest of the coaching staff for sticking around and mentoring these boys even after they lost for a few years only to lose again last year. I guess people can't handle it that East Side may have a team. I have witnessed comments from all team parents regarding East Side. One thing I can say for the kids is they are always smiling at practice and they keep coming back whether we are losing or winning. Our kids have always kept their heads high when other children at school were making fun of them, well now they can go to school on Wednesday with their heads held even higher. I guess I could say now they now what it feels like to be a cardinal or ram! So way to go Mustangs (players, coaches and most of all to the parents who have put up with all the negative comments about the BAMFL!) I say go get 'em Mustangs, I look forward to seeing kids score that don't normally get the chance32, because the first string is in and trying to keep the team above water. I would say this about any other team as well. If you don't like it or can't take the negativity, there's always "the little tornados"!
