The opposite of death is not life, it is birth.

I know that because the day you crossed over your life continued in so many ways.

Somehow, in spite of the tremendous pain, new bonds have been formed and old bonds reaffirmed.

Your new grandchildren would make you smile so proudly just as the ones you knew did before.

Your children are strong and living their lives.

Your circle of close friends both old and new have come together and spend time motorcycling together.

I, too, have discovered your joy of going down the highway with the wind in my hair; thank you for making me believe that it is worth the risk.

Now I understand why you had to ride that day.

Our lives will never be the same because we miss you so much.

But, please know, that each and every day now, we are aware of the gifts you have left for us.
