A family with three children pays the same amount for basic cable service as the middle aged couple across the street.

The couple with three children also has three televisions that are on all day. The wife watches the saops, the kids cartoons and the husband sports.

The middle aged couple across the street both work and only have an opportunity to watch their one TV in the evening. But they could ELECT to have three TVs on all day.

Both households pay the same amount quarterly for trash pickup. The family with three children place three large cans full each week while the middle aged couple only puts out one smaller one. But they could ELECT to put out three large cans if they wanted to. Is any of this Socialism or not?
