Jake, are you really that naive or ignorant (as in lacking knowledge) to actually believe that Social Security, as well as Medicare, are not forms of socialism? Can you give me concrete examples of socialist programs if you do not believe that Social Security and Medicare are socialist in nature? If you do not want to be part of a socialist system, figure out how much you paid into Social Security and Medicare, add a small amount of interest, then refuse to take any more out of it once you exhaust what you paid into it. You will quickly exhaust what you paid into Medicare. I guarantee you will not refuse any benefits beyond that you p-paid into it. Once a slacker like you exhausts what you paid into it, you will be living off the public dime, just like a true socialist. I will be paying tax dollars so you can get a check each month and have health care insurance. Sounds like public welfare to me. Face it, Jake, you will soon be a card-carrying Socialist.
