PITTSBURGH — Calling a Pittsburgh murderer's efforts "too little and too late" to help police find the dismembered body of the man he killed, a judge says a drug dealer will spend 19 to 38 years in prison for the killing.

Thirty-seven-year-old Bryan Sedlak was sentenced today in the 2005 death of 22-year-old Patrick Kenney.

Judge Jeffrey Manning had told Sedlak in February he should stop denying knowing where the body was hidden if he wanted less than the 21- to 42-year maximum sentence.

In May, Manning postponed Sedlak's sentencing after prosecutors said Sedlak led detectives to some buried remains that had been cut up with a saw.

Sedlak claims he shot Kenney in self-defense during a drug deal gone bad. He had testified that a friend got rid of the body but he didn't know where.
