I know of a person who is handicapped and having tremendous issues at the Butler Drivers License Center. The problem she's encountering is that each time she goes in to take her driving exam they request more of her. At the onset of the exam she explained her physical limitations and asked what was expected of her. They told her what special equipment she might need and told her to come back

when she had it to take the test. 2 times now she has returned to take the test and they keep telling her she needs something new. She feels humiliated each time she returns and it's highly frustrating. I can't imagine having a disability and being treated so poorly because of it. The one examiner treated her so offensively that he made her cry. He was extremely inconsiderate in the way that he asked her about

her disability. The fact that you have a certain physical condition doesn't give people the right to inquire about what may have caused it. Those are personal questions that should be restricted to only medical boards, etc. I have witnessed the 1 episode and felt it was extremely harsh. The employee in question should not be in the position to exam others. He is cruel and seems to single people out. I hope in the future that all people disabled or not will be treated more fairly and with respect. Just because you hold a ticket to someones future doesn't

mean they should have to brown nose you to pass the exam.
