content. I had the unfortunate opportunity to witness up close one of the traffic infractions you're speaking of. The incident took place in front of the new firehouse off of Main Street in Butler. I was sitting at the stop sign and slowly proceeded to go when suddenly out of nowhere

this lady appeared and barely stopped. Had I not hit the breaks this lady would have t-boned my vehicle and hit the passengers side of my van where my 18 month old child slept silently in is car seat. I was thankful that I noticed the lady but I don't think she even saw or

recognized what she did. I never hit the horn, I just reacted. This is an every day occurrence when I'm out and about. Mothers with young children need to be extra cautious because there are so many people who are unsafe on the roads these days, makes you wonder why they even have a license to begin with. I've also been witnessing a lot of police officers on cell phones while driving in their cruisers. How can they expect citizens to act and drive responsibly if they are even breaking the law. They are there to serve and protect, not to serve and neglect
