BUTLER TWP — Butler High School Class of 1959 will hold a 50th reunion Aug. 14 and 15.There will be a tour of the high school and a picnic on Aug. 15 and a dinner at the country club on Aug. 15. The following reunions are planned:• EVANS CITY — The Andrew and Catherine Werner Schoeffel reunion starts at noon Aug. 8 at EDCO Park, East Main Street. Bring a covered dish to serve 8 to 10 people; meal served at 3:30 p.m. with table service and beverage provided.• SUMMIT TWP — The Karenbauer reunion will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Kriley Pavilion, Kriley Lane in Herman. MIDDLESEX TWP — Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church will hold its annual bazaar from 1 to 9 p.m. Aug. 9 on the church and parish school grounds.A flea market will open at 8 a.m. Barbecue dinners will be served from noon to 6 p.m. with takeout available.The Knights of Columbus will sponsor bingo games. BUTLER TWP — Butler High School's Class of 1946 will hold its annual reunion Aug. 14 at the Tanglewood Center, Lyndora.Invitations have been sent; if you did not receive one or need more information, call 724-287-1344.

BUTLER TWP — There will be a car cruise starting at from 5 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Meridian Vets Club, Veterans Club Road. There will be dash plaques for the first 100 cars, refreshments, door prizes, a raffle and a disc jockey.

HARMONY - Stephen Glinsky of Slippery Rock will speak at "Portal to the World of the Eastern Woodland Indians 1750-1813" at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 in the Harmony Museum's Stewart Hall.Admission is free. The program gives firsthand accounts by Eastern Indians of their impressions of the British, French and settlers from before the French and Indian War to post-Revolution America.
