CABOT — Cooper Cabin Pioneer Homestead will host the third annual Civil War Living History Weekend from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 15 and 16.

Reenactors of the Pennsylvania 78th dressed in both Confederate and Union gear and uniforms will set up camp and conduct light skirmishes, picket posts, drills, a small march and interactive talks.Civilian reenactors will also be present and will be selling raffle tickets on a painting of Major General Joshua Chamberlain.

Docent-led tours of Cooper Cabin will also be available.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for ages 5 to 17 and senior citizens, and free for children younger than 5.

Cooper Cabin is at 199 Cooper Road, just off Route 356.
