COOPERSBURG — A South Carolina trucker who fell asleep and caused a fiery crash that killed three people in eastern Pennsylvania is going to prison.

R.E. Gallman of Union, S.C., was sentenced Monday to 21 to 48 months in prison for the June 2007 crash on Interstate 78.

Authorities say the 48-year-old trucker rear-ended a car stopped in traffic, killing Tricia and Courtney Achey of Hellertown and Rose Portugal of Parsippany, N.J.

PITTSBURGH — The media is set for a sneak peak at Pittsburgh's new slot machine casino.The media tour begins at 10 a.m. today at the Rivers Casino along the city's North Shore.The preview of the 3,000-machine facility comes eight days before the casino will open for the first of two test days. On Aug. 5 and 7, invitation-only events will be held with the proceeds going to charity so the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board can make sure the casino is ready for its formal opening Sunday, Aug. 9 at noon.

EMMAUS — A northeast Pennsylvania teen is charged with filming up the skirts of female teachers and students and posting the images online.The 15-year-old Emmaus High School student is charged with invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.City police have identified 19 victims so far, all students or teachers at the school. Authorities say the Upper Milford Township boy used a cell phone to take videos and photographs posted to several Web sites.

GREENSBURG, — State police say a Western Pennsylvania man used a pit bull to threaten a man he robbed as the victim left a restaurant.Forty-three-year-old James Hassinger, of Jeannette, remains in the Westmoreland County Prison Monday on charges including robbery and terroristic threats.Police say Hassinger demanded $100 from the victim or said he'd order the dog to attack.
