Here is a fact. The teachers did accept the 4.3% raise when it was on the table. The board rejected it. Also, you and other posters spend so much time saying that the teachers cannot compare themselves to teachers in other districts in regards to pay and benefits, because they don't teach there, and then in the next breath, you tell them to be grateful they have jobs because they are laying off teachers in other STATES or giving them a paycut. Very convenient to compare then, I see.
