What a sad day it was when we lost you

You were someone we could talk to that no one can replace

You were someone we could laugh with till tears ran down our face

You were someone we could turn to when we needed a helping hand

You were someone we could count on to advise and understand

You were someone we thought more of as each year came to an end

You were our dearest mother and also our dearest friend
