Eight of Slippery Rock's nine hitters had at least one hit as the Sliders prevailed over Dupage (Ill.), 5-2 in Prospect League baseball Friday night.

Nick Spisak led the offensive effort with a single, a double and a run scored while Kenny Stoneback had two singles and a run scored.

Matt Zicher started for the Sliders (8-9) and struck out five and walked none in four innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits.

He was relieved by eventual winning pitcher, Mark Wilder, who struck out three and walked none in five innings, giving up just two hits along the way.
