PROSPECT — Lutherlyn SummerFest 2009 will take place Sunday at Camp Lutherlyn, 500 Lutherlyn Lane.

The day begins with a worship service at 11 a.m. in the amphitheater, continues all day with food, recreation and concerts, and ends with a vespers bonfire at dusk.

The Happy Fun Times improv comedy show will be the featured entertainment.

Children's activities include clowns, carnival games, dunking booth, face painting and pony rides.

Admission for the program only is $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 12, or family fee of $20. A lunch or dinner meal costs $8 for adult or youth, or $5 for children ages 5 to 12. A family everything-package is $55.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University's popular four-program performing arts series has expanded to include two optional Pittsburgh events and a murder mystery dinner as part of the 2009-10 season.Season tickets to the four, 7:30 p.m. on-campus events in Miller Auditorium are available and include reserved seats for:• "Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway," Sept. 11.The production includes tunes from "Chicago," "Grease," "Cabaret," "Jersey Boys," "Man of La Mancha," "Guys and Dolls," "Carousel," "Les Miserables," "Cats," "Phantom of the Opera" and "Mama Mia."• Former "American Idol" stars from the television show will perform holiday selections Dec. 12.• River North Chicago dance company is marking its 20th anniversary and will bring its show to SRU Feb. 5, 2010.• The final series event is "Barrage Animado," a high-octane fiddle-fest, set for March 20, 2010. PITTSBURGH — To commemorate the 100th anniversary of one of America's most famous ballparks, the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum at the Senator John Heinz History Center will honor Forbes Field throughout the summer with a new exhibition, "Forbes Field: A Century of Memories."Set to open Saturday, the exhibit celebrates the iconic park through photographs, memorabilia and artifacts."Forbes Field: A Century of Memories" focuses on several key events, including the 1909 World Series between the Pirates and Detroit Tigers, which featured Hall of Famers Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb, and the 1960 World Series, which featured one of baseball's most famous moments, when Bill Mazeroski's home run beat the New York Yankees for the World Series title.History Center hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays.Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens age 62 and older, $5 for students with ID and for children ages 4 to 17, and free for children 3 and younger.
