Recently Wal-wart started to cut the hours of their full time and part time employees. The reason they said was to create better custmer service because they could have a greater # on employee's available during peak hours. Weill this sounds all well and good, in actuality it has reduced the # of hours across the board. Full time employees used to be there 40 hours a week, and now are being asked to du anywhere from 20 - 30.

How is this assisting the shopper during peak hours? What it does due in reduce the employee's paycheck. Forcing many full time employees to look for another job outside of Wal-mart or leave completely. Wal-mart therefore saves money on paying out benefits.

It's hurting the Butler area because it takes money out of the community. Instead of going out to eat at a local resturant, they will be forced to stay home and eat lunch meat, purchased from the cheapest place around; yep Wal-mart.

Many of these part time and full time employees will apply for partial unemployemnent. Increasing the burden on the local and state governments.

Meanwhile greed marches on.

I highly recommend a boycott of your local Wal-mart, and the products they carry. Call the local store and tell them, unless the policy changes...I will not be shopping there.
