Dave, I would like to ask you one question. If the company that you work for had millions of extra dollars that they weren't using for anything and they still cut your pay or refused to give you a raise, how would you feel about that. The board acknowledges they have the money to settle this contract, they just don't want to. Additionally, the teachers' pay has effectively been frozen as they don't get a raise until the contract is settled. I understand why teachers in CA are being furloughed or having pay cuts; the government is in the red and they have no money. That isn't the case with SBCSD. They have the money and won't use it. Maybe they should give you a tax cut instead, but they aren't doing that either.
